Breathe in, breathe out.

Red Rocks, Colorado

Sometimes, it’s more important to go out there and live your life than sit at your computer and relay the details.

Go outside. Get fresh air. See people that you love. Eat delicious food. Enjoy the moment. Appreciate the little things. Spread love.

This weekend, I am challenging myself to do just that. I’m in Colorado, visiting family. As you know, I just spent a few days earlier this week for business here, and now I’m really looking forward to enjoying spending time with my loved ones (who I don’t get to see very often!). So I challenge you too to get out there and breathe in all the goodness and breathe out all the stress and frustration and whatever it is that is weighing you down. It’s not always easy, but it is important to stop and take a moment to realize all the great stuff (people, happiness, etc) you have around you (no matter how big or small it may seem) and appreciate it. We’ve heard it over and over: our lives are so full of day-to-day busy-ness that it is hard to see over our own self-inflicted blinders (or our smartphone screen) and just stop for a moment and take it all in. So let’s all do that, shall we? Even for just a minute.

Side note: One thing I am highly appreciative of today is the oxygen content in the air at sea level (aka Boston). It is HELLA rough to run out here, in the Mile High City, but I managed to pound out 5.5 miles, even though it seemed like cruel and unusual lung torture. Damn! I give major props to all the runners/bikers/athletes/active folks that live out here – whew! πŸ˜›

You will be happy to know that the regularly scheduled program will resume on Monday. πŸ˜€

I hope you all have beautiful, amazing and happy weekends.

With warmth,
